The perlite content ensures rapid drainage and more oxygen at your root zone. Optimal Nutrient Uptake:

The coco coir in Plagron Cocos Perlite 70/30 is fully buffered. The unique thing about all Plagron coconut substrates is that they are more buffered than comparable products. Unwanted salts are flushed out during several buffering steps. This guarantees that the nutrients in Cocos A & B can be absorbed under optimum conditions.

Low Initial EC value prevents calcium deficiency:

Because the coco coir in Plagron Cocos Perlite 70/30 is fully flushed and buffered a low EC value is guaranteed. It is a given that you are growing with a coconut substrate that is clean and pure. Since all unwanted salts have been flushed out, your plant is prevented from having problems absorbing nutrients during growth and flowering. When Cocos A & B is given in the right dosage, it can be absorbed by the plant properly. The low EC-value also prevents a calcium deficiency.
