The CoolTube is a classic air-cooled reflector design. The lamp is housed inside a completely sealed tube. The tube has some reflective material mounted to the upper inside and there is also an external reflector that clips to the outside of the tube to improve reflectivity. Cool air is drawn through the tube with an extractor to remove the hot air generated by the lamp.We recommend the 125mm CoolTube to be used singly with a 250w – 400w light and the CoolTube 150mm to be used with 600w, 200mm with 1000w lamps and when linking multiple reflectors together.
