What kid of protection does it provide?
When the atmosphere gets too hot and humid (over 28ºC), Leaf·Coat helps prevent the plant from losing too much water through evaporation, helps the plant breathe and stops it from “”sweating” through the natural latex layer that forms around the leaf.
When the temperature drops, such as in winter months, Leaf·Coat safeguards against the cold by helping maintain the leaf temperature.
Leaf·Coat is an environmentally friendly alternative to pesticides, that couldn’t be more suitable or safe to use. Because Leaf·Coat doesn’t get absorbed by the leaves, it doesn’t affect the taste of the fruit either, it has a pleasant smell, and doesn’t irritate.
How to use it?
Apply straight from the bottle, preferably from an atomiser. Spray the leaves and flowers completely, and repeat this about two times a week until a fortnight before the end of the flowering period.
Within a few hours of application, a very thin elastic layer – 1.5 microns thick – forms on the leaves. Its beneficial effects last for up to two weeks until it is naturally decomposed by light or sunlight.
