These simple and inexpensive kits usually come with: • A phial (for holding a measured quantity of the water/nutrient solution for sampling). • A bottle of re-agent (which is added to the sample). • A colour test strip or chart (which is compared to the sample to ascertain the pH level). The colour scale runs from orange to blue with the ideal pH of 6.00 usually being a yellow/lime green colour. | ||
