Transplanting - Hardening off - Paul Fowler
SECTION 3 - HARDENING OFF
TRANSPLANTING (ROCKWOOL BLOCKS)
transplantingAfter one or two weeks roots should be seen emerging from the small Rockwool blocks.

transplantingThe plant can then be transplanted into a larger Rockwool block. With Rockwool blocks this method of transplanting is almost stress free for the plant. Alternatively it can be put straight into the hydroponic system.
transplantingHand water the plant outside of the propagator until roots grow through the larger block. This will take a few weeks, by which time there should also be new growth above ground with new shoots and leaves forming. When the roots are showing through the larger Rockwool block the plant is ready to go into the hydroponic system.
