SECTION 1 - SEEDS
PROGRESSION AND HARDENING-OFF
progression and hardening offThe root tip (radicle) will start making its way downwards while the head seeks the surface.
progression and hardening offThe stem (hypocotyl) will appear, along with the seed leaves. The shell may still be attached to the seed leaves.
progression and hardening offThe seed leaves (cotyledons) will then open up and the shells will be discarded. By this stage the roots should be starting to grow.
progression and hardening offThe first true leaves (epicotyl) will then appear, and the roots should now be growing well. Once the roots start emerging from the rooting medium, the seedling is ready for planting or transferring into a larger Rockwool block.
