The Eco-Lite incorporates a remote ignition system making it more efficient than a standard ballast and allowing the lamp to be remote started from as far away as 200m from the ballast if required. This makes Eco-Lite's perfect for installations of any size as the ballasts can be positioned all in one area and the reflectors positioned in another. The Rising Sun is a superior quality open ended reflector that gives an impressive spread of light whilst still allowing for plenty of air movement in and around the reflector. It is made from polished anodized dimpled aluminium that will not lose its shine over time. The deep sides of the reflector are flexible allowing you to adjust the span of the reflector if necessary. The vented heat sink running along the top of the reflector draws heat away from the lamp and reduces hot spots.

The Eco-Lite is built with safety in mind. It uses a heavy duty jack plug that locks the reflector lead firmly into the ballast meaning it cannot accidently be pulled out or work loose over time. The Eco-Lite also incorporates a safety feature that will detect if a lamp has failed after a mains failure. The re-strike time is between 30 seconds and 20 minutes. If the lamp is not lit within 20 minutes, the system will shut down as the lamp is obviously faulty.
