The SMC is the mechanical version of the popular SPC and Twin Fan Controller range but they adjust fan speed using a 5 step variac transformer. Although they are quiet big and heavy in comparison to the newer versions, the transformer guarantees no buzzing or humming regardless of the type of fans being used.
They provide accurate climate control by stepping up and down the speed of your inlet and exhaust fans to maintain the temperature set. There is no need to adjust the fan speeds independently of each other as the SMC will do this for you automatically. You will always have the perfect temperature and the correct air pressure within the room. The SMC also has the advantage of stepping up or down the ventilation in the case of an overload so will always provide ventilation.
The SMC is very easy to use. Simply plug in your fans set the temperature and the SMC will do the rest.
