The Aardvark is a high quality, precision instrument that will remove the leaves from your plants at speeds you have never previously dreamt possible. The days of looking at that up and coming harvest with dread are gone for good. With an Aardvark in your hand you will soon be trimming the leaves from your plants as fast as if they were on a conveyor belt!

The huge advantage of The Aardvark is that you have unbelievable freedom of movement. There is no need to prepare plants before use and you can work from your armchair. The Aardvark sits comfortably in your hand and is lightweight and allows even small, delicate flowers to be pruned with accuracy.

The Aardvark needs to be connected to a vacuum cleaner. This provides the suction needed to draw the leaf material into the cutting mechanism and then into the vacuum cleaner bag for easy and convenient disposal. The best type of vacuum cleaner is one with a variable speed control and a large bag volume. We recommend a ‘Miele’ as they are good quality, have a low noise and variable speed control. The Aardvark doesn’t need the vacuum to be really powerful; in fact it works best at a low speed.

The hardened steel cutting mechanism in the Aardvark will sheer 5400 times a minute. This speed will allow you to cut your plants in almost half the time that it would take you manually using scissors. The trimming edges are coated with Teflon to make sure that very little material sticks to them during operation and makes the cleaning of the machine very easy.

To keep the machine running well you will receive a special cleaning fluid that will quickly dissolve anything that sticks to the blades and keep the machine running smoothly. The cleaning solution is colourless, odourless, food grade and 100% safe to use. It is also a great thing to clean your hands with after you have finished working.

The motor inside the Aardvark is designed to last. It is manufactured by the same company who have been making motors for medical, aerospace and space travel industries for years and used correctly will give many years of trouble free operation.

With each Aardvark you will receive a 1.8 meter vacuum cleaner attachment that will connect to your own vacuum cleaner, a UK mains adapter, 250ml bottle of cleaning fluid, and a really good hand book. There is also an instructional CD showing you the best techniques to get you trimming faster than ever before!
